Landscaping Improvements

Even though the primary focus of the maintenance team is golf course conditioning, additional attention has been given to the clubhouse grounds.  Many of you have already noticed a renewed crispness to the clubhouse area.  Our part time horticulturist, Susie Jushka, has done a wonderful job redefining borders on the vast array of perennial and shrub beds, blowing clippings and debris from hard surfaces, and pruning trees and shrubs.  In addition, Susie has applied her vast horticultural and design experience to make some small but noticeable improvements to the clubhouse grounds that will serve to improve the overall aesthetics and member experience at Hidden Glen.  The before and after photos below highlight some of the improvements.

West Side Of Clubhouse:
The declining junipers have been replaced with new plants and an up lighted Butterflies Magnolia has been added as an accent.

Path From Range To First Tee:
The dead junipers have been removed and new plants have been added.  A rock wall is currently under construction.  The width of the area has been opened for improved cart access.

#1 Tee Area:
The declining junipers have been removed and replaced with grass, providing a cleaner look and improved first impression of the course.
